Senshi no chi CH.1-1

The sun was shining bright in sky on the early morning of a saturday. Zarwourn, the king of his own castle...no, his own land, stared out his window, eyeing everyone that passed by. He sighed as he turned around to see a slim young looking man with long black hair and an eyepatch stand before him. He knelt down on one knee, pressing his fist to the ground lightly.

Zarwourn: You have returned, Tonozuke.

Tonozuke: Yes, father.

Zarwourn stroked his red beard and examined an open wound on Tonozuke's shoulder. He growled as he immediately appeared behind Tonozuke and slammed him into the wall. Tonozuke coughed up a bit of blood and looked into Zarwourn's eyes, filled with rage.

Zarwourn: You...I told you...not to lose! Do you realize you'll never make advanced knight status now?!

Tonozuke: S-sir...my brother Dominick...he's...a lot stronger than he looks...

He clutched Tonozuke's shirt tightly and tossed him aside, letting his son fall to the floor. He snarled and walked back to his window. Zarwourn sighed as Tonozuke stood up and fixed his cape, picking up the eyepatch which was knocked off his eye when he was thrown.

Zarwourn: Next time you fight, weither it be you see him around Dornshire or anywhere else...kill him...understood?

Tonozuke: But he IS your other son-

Zarwourn: *Turns around in frustration* AND YOU HAVE A LOT MORE POTENTIAL THAN HE DOES! DO NOT DISSAPOINT ME! DOMINICK IS WEAK AND SO ARE HIS FRIENDS...I saw so much in the both of you...but he has strayed off the path of being a strong warrior and has gained "feelings" and "friends"...something you yourself doesn't need. You only need family that pushes you to become strong and strive for what makes you the most powerful warrior to ever walk this land...

There was only silence as Tonozuke nodded and left the room...

Elsewhere, a nice, well built man was walking through the city of Dornshire. He had fluffy, long white hair and an X shaped cut across his face. He sighed as he walked through, yawning from the battle he had experienced in the adanced knight tournemant semi-finals. His name was Dominick, the person Tonozuke had lost to. As he looked up, he noticed a tree ruffle. He quickly got his spiked wristbands activated...only to be smashed in the stomach by a speedy short black haired man. He growled as he yelled at his friend.

Dominick: DAMN IT XANDER! What was that for?!

Xander: Wow...I thought you'd be prepared for that!

Dominick: Tch...you know I dont like unexpected attacks...-rubs his shoulder-

Xander: Ooooh...you just got back from the semi-finals! Defeated your brother, didn't you?

Dominick: I just BARELY made it. He blames my so called "weakness" on having friends. You guys are my support and thats what gives me my strengh...after all thats what you taught me anyways...

Xander nodded and helped Dominick up. He apologized for the attack and started walking with Dominick. Xander was a close friend of Dominick, and Dominick, or Dom for short as everyone called him, was the brother of Tonozuke. Both of them are the sons of the famous Zarwourn, the king of Dornshire. Both of them have the potential to become what royalty calls the "advanced knight", which is the highest level of royalty next to the king and queen. Tomorrow, Dom would be challenging his friend Adam to become the advanced knight. Even though Dom and his brother are royal blood, they must participate in the annual advanced knight tournament to see who has the potential to become the next advanced knight and serve their kingdom.

Xander: So you think you have what it takes to become Advanced knight? Man thats all that gets talked about around here. And sorry I couldn't make it to see your match...things between me and Katie have um...well...

Dominick: Don't mention it. It's all good. Youll be able to see the finale tomorrow, when  I defeat Adam and become the advanced knight!

They both chuckled a bit as they kept walking. As they did, they noticed someone up ahead standing by a tall gray building. She looked beautiful, had decent looking red hair, and nice curves on her body. It was their friend Rose. she walked up to them, with a sort of angry expression on her face.

Xander: Um...hey...

Rose: -Passes by Dom and slaps Xander- How COULD you!

Dom: Huh?

Xander: It's a...uh...complicated situation going on right now...shes upset because I-

Rose: Decided to choose Katie over me...

Dom: Well, you do know he had Katie first, right?

Xander rubbed his cheek but Rose breathed in and then glared at Dom, making even him feel scared. She growled as she looked back at Xander.

Xander: Sorry...I just...know where my heart belongs...

Rose: Whatever...I'm off...-walks by Dom, rubbing his cheek- See you tomorrow, Dom, and good luck.

Dom blushed a bit as he nodded and then tended to Xander.

Dom: I wouldn't worry about her...well...at least for now...

The two of them walked off, continuing down the street, talking as they walked...

Who is Rose? Who is Katie? Will we learn more about Xander? What type of situation is going on between the two? How will the finale tomorrow for Dom turn out? And who is this "Adam" that is being mentioned...and about Zarwourn...why does he want Tonozuke to become advanced knight and see Dominick dead?
